Wisefund review

Wisefund is a recent Estonian platform with high expectations, appealing interest rates and medium-term projects. Established in March 2019, it now boasts around 2000 investors from EEA countries and Switzerland. I started investing in September 2019 and all 11 ongoing projects are punctual in payments. It has no auto-invest or secondary market, but it is possible to resell its stake to the company, paying a commission for early exit. The platform has not accepted deposits for about a month, to improve transactions speed, which are now actually faster. Each project is described in detail and the website is user friendly. Tax return statement will be available at the end of January. Although I like Wisefund a lot, I recommend investing with caution, given its short track record. The first 3 projects I have invested in will expire in April 2020, I will keep you updated on the results.

Pros:

  • no late project
  • appealing interest rates
  • investments starting from 10 euros
  • 60-day buyback guarantee
  • fast deposits, even less than 24 hours

Cons:

  • no auto-invest tool
  • no secondary market, with high early exit fees (between 10% and 15%)
  • few projects available, about 3 per month
